Building a Dream Team: $15M Series A Secured

CHALLENGE

The client urgently needed to build a core management team to work closely with the co-founders, help raise capital, and position the company as an industry leader.

APPROACH

Using our growth service, we identified and executed multiple executive searches, securing key leadership positions. We successfully placed a CEO from a publicly traded company, poached a VP of Operations from a top competitor, and identified the client’s first VP of Finance from a leading e-commerce brand. Additionally, we supported the search for their General Counsel, securing a candidate with a financial services background. We also hired the first Head of Performance Creative, VP of Marketing, HR Manager, Director of Lifecycle, and Chief of Staff. In record time, we staffed 75% of the team, from strategic executives to tactical managers and associates.

OUTCOME

As a result, the client raised $15M in Series A funding at a $150M valuation, launched five incubated brands, and is now positioned to exit one of the assets within the next two years.
